Glad I Don't Have Stairs in my House

Exercise for me must be convenient. I know myself well enough to know that there's no way I will get out of bed early enough to work out before going to work. I also know that once I've come home from work that it's very unlikely I will actually leave to go exercise. Really the only way I fit exercising into my schedule is if I go on my lunch breaks or go directly on my way home from work. I have been a member of the Rec Center at Boise State for a few years now (and I will continue to keep this membership for my lunchtime workouts), but I need some more structure or motivation for my workouts... I tried personal training with someone I met through BYP earlier this year. I enjoyed it, but it was kind of far from my house, and the only times available weren't super convenient for me. Well, yesterday I had my first workout at my new gym - Fit Physique. It was a bootcamp class, and it kicked my butt! It was really focused on lower body. Needless to say, I am having a hard time walking today. I paid to park in the visitor lot at work this morning (which is right outside my building) so I wouldn't have to walk the 7 minutes from my lot to my office. After going to a couple meetings, I realized that stairs are a killer... going up is okay, but coming down sure is difficult. Needless to say, I'm glad I don't have stairs in my house. Hope I'm recuperated soon :-)

Awesome! I forgot what it is like to be sore after a workout! Hope you feel better before you go back again!
