Book Suggestions Needed
Posted by Kimberly at 7:53 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2009
Let's pretend you were going on a Caribbean cruise. You know that you'll have a long flight to and from Miami, as well as some relaxing time on the cruise ship, and you want a good, fun, easy book to read. What book would you bring with you???

I'm reading Garden Spells BY Sarah Addison Allen and it's a light, easy read, that's reall really good.
Clive Cussler books are always fun. I highly recommend any of them.
Artemis Fowl series! I have just finished the 5th of 6 in the series . . . and you know me . . . I don't read! They are a fun series - I am guessing like that of Harry Potter (but seeing as I haven't read Harry Potter I don't know for sure!). I am probably going to blog about them soon. They are kids books . . . so they are quick and easy to read. It sounds weird but it about an 11 year old criminal mastermind who finds out about fairy people who live below the crust - and the fairy people are super advanced in their technology . . . are they a match for this 11 year old ??? ok - sounds weird - but no weirder than humans falling in love with vampires and warewolves that live next door (which I am also reading right now - good books too!) Have a blast on your cruise! I am jealous!
Have you read Something Borrowed and Something Blue...by Emily Giffin...very indulgent and very very fun books! couldn't put them down!
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Stephanie - I actually read both of those (plus Baby Proof by the same author) as a suggestion from your blog :-)
Keep the suggestions coming! I'm excited to try some of these out.
Have you read the Shannon Hale books? I love them. All of them. And I love the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency books. I know they sound like cheesy mysteries, but they're set in Africa and they are just great books! Fast fun reads. I'm excited for you. ;-)
I just finished Things I Want My Daughters to Know by Elizabeth Noble...I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put it down. I have it if you want to borrow it!
